Contemporary Art | In the space of about ten years, a number of passionate collectors of contemporary art have become genuine experts by virtue of their personal, even intimate involvement in sponsorship and funding of public works.

In so doing they assume a new role at the heart of the art world, society and even history. Conscious of their economic clout and their part in the creation of a prime market, they also set up new structures of organisation, of contemporary art promotion, and support of current artists. They develop networks and schools of thought to generate the flow of new ideas.
