J.M. Weston takes on Klein blue

Art & Business | Just as J.M. Weston opens its seventh Parisian boutique, in March the shoe manufacturer launched an original collection built around the iconic Klein blue - another step toward erasing the boundaries between art, fashion and luxury goods.

It’s the entire body of work of an artist that inspired J.M. Weston and its artistic director Michel Perry. With its reissuing of the famous Moc’Weston – the brand’s iconic 2014 moccasin – the manufacturer pays homage to Yves Klein, the 1950’s inventor of IKB (International Klein Blue), with a limited edition line of 1,500 men’s and women’s pairs.
