Art Paris Art Fair, a challenger positioning

Contemporary Art | In a calendar crowded with international art fairs in strategic global cities, Art Paris Art Fair #16 emphasizes its specificity as Paris’s springtime fair, in comparison to October’s FIAC.

The annual exploration of a foreign artistic scene and its market creates connections with French (56%) and European (85%) galleries, provoking cultural dialogue and market intermingling. Korea’s appeal, and the pertinence of the galleries and artists represented, attracts French and international collectors for the duration of the 16th fair, including Jacques-Antoine Granjon, Guillaume de Saint-Seine, Jean-Claude Gandur, Antoine de Galbert, Laurent et Martine Dassault, Antonio Cardoso (Portugal), Michael Cox Witmer (USA), Stephan Hof (United Kingdom), Carine Menache (Monaco), Thomas Poller (Germany), Weixing Zhong (Chengdu’s Contemporary Photography Art Park and Museum)...
At once local and global, the fair reflects the reality of the field, focusing on the prospects for both creation and the global marketplace (22 countries represented).
